Two presidential spokesmen, Femi Adesina and Garba Shehu, have arrived at the presidential wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, to welcome President Muhammadu Buhari, who will arrive in the country later this evening.
Bauchi State Governor, Mohammed Abubakar, is also there.
Journalists have also converged to capture the arrival of the president.
Supporters of the president, who were prevented from gaining access to the presidential wing, are singing and dancing outside the place.
Buhari left the country on May 7.
Earlier on Saturday, Adesina issued a statement to announce that the president was on his way back to the country.
